This film although very entertaining, had very little to do with the Hispanic culture. It is more of a world wide problem. Our teems are desensitized to sex and drugs because it is a part of there life everyday, on TV at school and with there friends. Sad to say but if we think our children are above this we are just closing our eyes to everything that is revolving around them.
The teens in this movie seem to be let loose to do what ever they want. How old are they at this time? It seems that the families are too busy with there own lives to care about what the children are up to. Where is the "hot climate" part of this culture?
The culture is seen more on the road side and at the beach with the family that fish for a liveing. The way they offered food and a place for them to stay after the pigs got into their camp. That was more of the warm climate feel.
I just don't think this film is saying alot for the hispanic.
