Guantanamera by Roberta Peterson

This movie had Cuba all over it . The music throughout the movie set the scenes. The family values of caring for there loved one even after death. Going to such lengths to carry out the wise of a loved one. The trip alone would have made me change my mind about where she was going to be baried. Through out the movie at every stop they had coffee and even rum at some stops. the road side stands of fruit along the way.

The movie was a good story of how love can be looked over until the most inopportune times and I think a country of romance such as Cuba was a very good choice for filming.

The moods were set with the music and the passion of the lovers. The strong believes of spirits were also seen through out with the spirit of the old lady coming back as the child the old man remembered being in love with.

This film also demonstrated allot on dogmatism. I feel it was a very good culture film
