The title return ( the dead return to fix something left undone and the return of the mother after being in hiding all this time. Also return for the events that lead to the birth of Paula, returned by Paula's father attempting to rape her.



This film was a very hart felt film. The film I feel is considered a tribute to women and their resilience in the face of life's most outrageous tribulations", is because it shows how a few women stand strong for what they feel is Justice and what they felt was the right thing to do to protect their families. Mother and daughter both ended up facing the same horrible experience of the father abusing there child in the worst way ever thought of. In there minds the death of the men was justice.


Through the film superstitious believes were talked about mostly of the dead coming back to fix something left undone this was mentioned tow times during the movie from the aunt and then the sister Sole spoke of not driving in the dark. The real live aspects I think was the sister Sole being so afraid of being around the dead, this also made it easy for her to believe that her mother was a ghost.
